Very helpful policeman in San Remo

Only one photo from San Remo. We parked set up the gear and a very nice, apologetic policeman said we could not busk. He took out his personal mobile phone and started typing. And typing, and typing. We packed up the gear and he typed. He kept typing. Eventually he showed us the many pages he had typed. He then proudly tapped "the translate" icon. As if by magic it changed all his text into a language that none of us could understand.
Dad spent sometime picking through the english ish words and nodding and smiling at the policeman. We eventually left him and I gave him one of my business cards.

Dad said from what he could understand, the new Mayor of 2 months or a new law of 2 months says that you have to be 18 years old to busk and that even then you can not sell your CD's or DVD's in the street with out a licence.
We moved on to another town in the direction of Venice.
