Menton, it's all Queen Vics fault.

Apparently when Albert died Queen Victoria came here to cheer herself up. That was what started the French Riviera. If fact the whole of the sea front in Nice is called Promenade des Anglais (walking of the English).

 A gentle town full of wonderful gardens and a huge Gallery dedicated to Jean Couteau.

  2. Actually the computer spelt his name wrong, it should read Jean Cocteau. He was a successful play write,film maker and artist. Of his most noted works are works are The Terrible Children, and The Terrible Parents.
